Getting Creative with Reimbursement Methods
This session explored how Androscoggin Home Healthcare + Hospice secured reimbursement for their telehealth program creatively. Panelists from Androscoggin discussed the unique reimbursement pathway for their telehealth and RPM. Attendees learned how they expanded and implemented billing codes for RPM, sought out CMS and private carrier reimbursements, and ensured billing codes were set up in their EMR.
Nascentia Health Home Care is currently using telehealth and remote patient monitoring to manage the care of patients with COVID-19, CHF, COPD, diabetes, and post-operative patients. Throughout 2020, Nascentia saw a 30%+ increase in the number of patients monitored with rpm per condition group. Nascentia Health joined Health Recovery Solutions to understand Nascentia’s innovative telehealth program.
