Navigating the scope of reimbursement is never an easy task, especially with the ever-changing landscape of CMS. Agencies of all sizes have had to get creative with reimbursement methods. Located in Lewiston, Maine, Androscoggin Home Healthcare + Hospice shared how they were able to offer their patients optimal care virtually. Currently monitoring more than 400 patients with telehealth, they support and monitor patients with a range of conditions including CHF and coronary artery disease, COPD, maternal health and more.
 
This session explored how Androscoggin secured reimbursement for its telehealth program creatively. Panelists from Androscoggin discussed their unique reimbursement pathway for their telehealth and RPM. Attendees learned how they expanded and implemented billing codes for RPM, sought out CMS and private carrier reimbursements, and ensured billing codes were set up in their EMR.
