"During the pandemic, we used telehealth quite a bit to reduce in-person visits and stay connected to the patients. We avoided hospitalizations and drove hospitalizations down by a significant amount by using CareConnect. We saved a significant amount of money. CareConnect was helpful during the pandemic. "We kept falls low and hospitalizations at a very minimum level. The system was a real lifesaver. We had a physician who was quarantined at home because they had COVID-19, but they didn't have to stop practicing. We quickly sent a couple of units out to the physician so that they could do telemedicine visits. That got us a bit of physician buy-in. That was helpful because physician buy-in was the hard part for us. Physicians didn't want to give up having patients come to them until they found out that they could bill for telemedicine visits. A lot of the patients feel more engaged in their care and feel more monitored, so they are more compliant. We saw one patient lose a significant amount of weight while doing daily weigh-ins and checking their blood sugar."

"Health Recovery Solutions continues to innovate, and they keep us up to date on new things that are coming. They have virtual stethoscopes and glucometers for our patients. They were able to write a list of survey questions for patients that we could deploy to the tablets to ask some specific COVID-19 questions. The vendor seems to be on top of the trends happening in healthcare. When COVID-19 happened and everybody went to telehealth, there was a great opportunity for the vendor to upgrade what they were doing and push virtual visits with clients. The vendor always sends out things like updates, evidence-based articles, or things that other people are doing to keep everybody updated on what is happening."

"With CareConnect, we can see our patients without being in their homes every day. That allows us to keep an eye on them, and it helps us out a lot with the closer management of patients. "The product provides us with a connection to patients. It is a platform by which our telehealth nurses monitor those patients and receive alerts when vital signs are outside of the parameters.
