**On HRS' Origins

***I always thought that when we first started, leaving the hospital and not having a voice was the worst thing ever. So we are trying to makes sure that patients have that voice, and that there's a better transition home.

**On the Idea HRS was Founded On**

*When we first started out it was on this idea: if we engage patients to be proactive in their disease self management, we can take costs out of the system.*

**On What He Loves About Being CEO**

*When you have a client that reaches out with their vision, and asks '"can you do this?'" and then 3 years later seeing them on a stage saying, '"we reduced our readmission by 75%"...it was their idea, it was their program, HRS was just helping out.*
