Tell us about a day in the life of a Senior Software Engineer at HRS.

This is definitely different every day, but typically I am doing some sort of sprint planning or code reviews, working on a ticket for bluetooth, tablet or mobile and chatting with and helping teammates! Often my day starts out with a plan, but changes depending on what comes up.

What is your favorite thing about working at HRS?

Without a doubt the people are my favorite thing at HRS. Everyone brings something unique to the table and our team is so dynamic with those different experiences.

What's your favorite HRS memory?

There have been a ton of good memories, but I love that everyone enjoys the team outings and happy hours. One particularly great memory was riding go carts!

What can we find you doing outside of HRS?

Doing outdoor activities, such as hiking or more recently riding scooters, with my two and three year old kids, dog and husband. Watching a LOT of Disney movies too!

What's the heartbeat of HRS?

Without sounding too cliche or repetitive, again it's the people. Each person is a piece of what makes our team, product and company great.
 

What's a fun fact about you?

Coming from Louisiana, my favorite holiday is Mardi Gras and my favorite food is King Cake.

Ted Lasso, Emily in Paris, Haunting of Bly Manor
 

If you could pick one superpower, what would it be?

Definitely omniscience - I do love constantly learning, but wouldn't hurt to be all knowing.
 

Where is the best place you’ve ever traveled to? 

One of my favorite places I've ever been was Croatia - I loved Dubrovnik. The medieval wall around the city is incredible and the views from the bars and restaurants on the edge of the cliffs were unforgettable. After the year we have had with coronavirus, I would love to just travel anywhere right now! Seems like it's been forever since everyone could travel without worry.
 
 
What's your secret talent?

Remembering names. I hardly ever forget someone's name that I've ever met - even if it was just once!
