Employee Spotlight: Dominic Lucisano

Sr. Business Development Representative

Dominic Polaroid

Tell us about a day in the life of a Senior Business Development Representative at HRS.

A day as a BDR is always changing - balancing cold calls, researching prospects, crafting emails, deep diving through LinkedIn, and much more. Our team is always collaborating with methods of outreach and sharing tips and tricks that have worked for us in connecting with leads and prospects. Every day is different, and always exciting!

What is your favorite thing about working at HRS?

As someone who has been working remotely for the entirety of my time here, I'm often reflecting on how great of a culture we have that has made me feel completely part of the team despite never being at the office, or even meeting my coworkers in person. This environment where everyone constantly communicates and people are always willing to help/answer questions has been a pleasure to work in.

What's your favorite HRS memory?

A couple weeks after I started, the company had a Zoom happy hour where we played a game with people's baby pictures and guessing who was who... it was an interesting experience playing with a bunch of people I had never met face to face, but I held my own!

What can we find you doing outside of HRS?

Playing the drums, going running/hiking, attempting to work on projects for the house we just moved to, and playing with my cat Ted!

What's the heartbeat of HRS?

To me, it's our mission - trying to bring the best care to as many people as possible!

What's a fun fact about you?

I hosted a radio show in college called Defiance of Silence, playing all of your favorite classic heavy metal hits and discussing the latest news in the genre. I was on every Tuesday night from 10:00-11:30pm, and I think my record number of listeners was maybe 4 people at one time. It was awesome.

What're you streaming right now?

All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur on Prime. Hate the team, but fascinated to see behind the scenes of a Premier League club, highly recommend to any soccer fans out there!

If you could pick one superpower, what would it be?

To be able to speak to my cat in his language, then maybe I could get him to stop begging for more Fancy Feasts after I already fed him his dinner.

Where is the best place you’ve ever traveled to?

The best place in the world is Kauai, Hawaii. No contest.

What's your secret talent?

Distance running! Nowhere near where I was back in the glory days of high school cross country and track, but maybe someday...
