QA Manager 

HRS is looking to add a Quality Assurance Manager to our team. The candidate will oversee our growing team of QA engineers, be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products, and possess experience operating in an agile and fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate will have a passion and excitement for healthcare, an innate attention to detail and precision and proficiency in improving automation percentage through knowledge and leadership.

Experience level:

5+ years

 

Skills needed to reach this level:
  • Experience working with engineering and product teams for iterative testing of platforms and/or product lines
  • Experience working with developers and stakeholders in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading and managing a team of Quality Assurance Engineers
  • Experience with writing unit tests and testable code (e.g. Junit, phpunit)
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g mySQL)
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Agile Development
  • Experience driving QA through the entire SDLC
  • A deep passion for the integration of healthcare and technology and are self-motivated
Bachelors or master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience

Responsibilities:
  • Manage QA Test processes and responsibility for accurate, consistent testing of RC
  • Review requirements, generate test plans and execute test cases
  • Develop and use automated testing when appropriate
  • Ensure reliability of new features during pre-release QA process
  • Ensure reliability of current production application(s)
  • Communicate with engineering regarding tickets ready to test, bugs, missing functionality, and non-functional day-to-day operations
  • Communicate with Technical Product Management regarding bug triage, readiness to release, and customer-facing issues/bugs
  • Work with team members to clarify requirements
  • Propensity for self-directed problem-solving and the ability to work with limited guidance
  • Comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams (IRL and remote) and working under tight deadlines
Interact with development teams to help implement optimized and re-usable functional test automation
