Employee Spotlight: Irene Rusli

Quality Assurance Engineer

Irene Polaroid

Tell us about a day in the life of a QA Engineer at HRS.

My day at HRS is never the same, however our main responsibilities include testing new feature, improvement, and bug tickets for all our available services, regression testing, and documentation. The QA team usually tries to plan our work flow for the day, however depending on urgency we tend to switch focus a lot. Flexibility is key in being a QA at HRS.

What is your favorite thing about working at HRS?

Coming from a big corporation I can say that my favorite thing about working at HRS so far is being able to communicate easily with other team members.

What's your favorite HRS memory?

My favorite HRS memory is the new office party. I was able to meet a lot more people and was able to meet a team member who was currently working remotely.

What can we find you doing outside of HRS?

When I'm not in the office, then you will probably find me with my family traveling and exploring new places (restaurants, cafes, beaches, mountains, cities). I love doing weekend trips outside of Jersey and I would travel for food. I am also very involved in Church, so a lot of times you will find me there as well.

What's the heartbeat of HRS?

To me the heartbeat of HRS is our weekly all-hands. I love how we are a very transparent company and that you are not left wondering about what others in the company do everyday. I love how we get updates and get glimpse of what's going on for the week. Most of all I love how we take the time to give shout-outs and make people feel appreciated.

What's a fun fact about you?

I've lived in 3 different continents North America, Europe, Asia.

The King Eternal Monarch and Mystic Pop-up Bar.

If you could pick one superpower, what would it be?

Magical powers.

Where is the best place you’ve ever traveled to?

There are so many places I've traveled to that I love. I'm not sure if I can choose the best of one. If I were to have to choose a top 3 then Prague, Bali, and Santorini would be my favorite places.
