Design Intern

HRS is looking to add a new member to the team that will help in the design and development department. The primary role of the Design Intern is to assist the UI/UX Department in all areas of user research and experience design. A successful candidate must be very thorough with great attention to details and efficient time management skills.
This is a paid internship position in Hoboken, NJ. 
Who you are 
Our candidate will be exposed to all aspects of the company and work on a variety of products that are impactful to the business. You will have an opportunity to learn about the inner workings of the company firsthand, enjoy the creative company culture and grow within the digital design space.
What you’ll be doing
  • Perform design-relevant research, organize the findings and present results to the team
  • Assist in planning and running design sprints and organizing outcomes
  • Assist in maintaining internal documentation
  • Assist in various note taking and conducting structured design meetings and presentations 
  • Assist in preparing, conducting and documenting user interviews
  • Assist in maintaining UX-focused client database
What we’re looking for
  • College student
  • We are looking for someone who can start immediately and dedicate 15 hrs/week through June. Starting June 2020 this will turn into a full-time internship position- 40 hrs/week.
